If you observe this working, you can see how articles of those successful bloggers appear in the Google search feeds. Their articles will be usually on the top of front Google search result page. Their articles tend to receive maximum views and then they continue remaining as successful bloggers.
To make an article appear in the front page of search feeds isn’t very hard. It’s just a matter of implementing few measures before actually publishing a post article. Are you ready to grab those 10 tactics and place your blog articles in the top front page of Google search feeds?
10 measures to be considered to make your blog articles appear in the top of front page of Google search feeds.
#1 Focus-word usage in Title
When you write an article specifically about ‘Nikon D5500’ the key-word or focus-word should be kept as ‘Nikon D5500’. Once you have picked the focus-word, you should use that word at least once in the post title. And also don’t forget to make title attention-grabbing.
#2 Focus-word in paragraph start
You must always try to start the article using the focus-word or key-word you have picked. Because when a person submits his queries related to ‘Nikon D5500’ Google will screen all the articles having that key-word in the title. And then article having that word in the start of first paragraph will be given more preference.
#3 Focus-word Density level
What is a focus-word density? Density means level of concentration of anything. Since here it’s focus-word density, it means how many times the key-word is being used in the content. If you are using Yoast SEO plugin, it will give this reading once your article is ready to be published. Blog posts with higher Focus-word densities are usually SEO responsive.
#4 Use Sub-headlining features
There are H1, H2, H3 etc options. They are nothing but different headlining features. Use of different headlining options will make your blog post body professionally attractive. But don’t use H1 feature in post body. It’s reserved for post title. I have used H3 in all my points. Aren’t they distinctively attractive?
#5 Alt texts for post thumbnails
The moment you upload an image to be used as a featured image or just post thumbnail, a separate frame for its editing will be displayed. In that frame, you will see options to fill up image title, description, alt texts, URL sources etc. Name of the image will be taken as title of the image by default. But you can also change if you want.
In other fields, you have to type manually. To make it more SEO responsive, try to give texts in image title, image description and alt texts different. This will cover more queries.
#6 Post on Trending Topics
If your post is something about things that have happened in the past which people would be less interested to knowing more about them, it will not receive good number of queries. It’s always better from SEO point of view to write blog articles about trending topics and situation. You can get list of trending topics from Google Trend.
There are also many tools that would provide you with fresh blog post ideas. Some of them I know of are:
- Key Hole
- Buzz Feed
#7 Use Google Keyword Planners
When Google Trend gives topics for blogging that are happening in very recent times but Google Keyword planners will show you the worth of a word you are going to use in your article based on the number of times they are searched in the Google. It’s better to use words having higher value as it means more and more people are searching for them.
#8 Quality of Content Post
No matter whether you implement all other tactics, uniqueness and quality of a content post shall still remain a paramount yardstick to see if your article qualifies to be in the front page of Google search feeds.
#9 Word count of Content post
This warrants a debate. Readers don’t love longer articles but responsiveness to SEO is in proportion to the number of word counts a post has. Bloggers are actually on the fence whether to keep word counts higher to enable SEO and then forgo readership or vice-versa.
But Yoast SEO, a SEO analyzing plugin recommends keeping the minimum word counts at 300. Though it doesn’t say anything on upper limit, I usually keep at 1200.
#10 Develop More Back-links
What are back-links? A link or links made by third party that would lead to opening of your blog when that blog’s readers open them are technically called as back-links. In simple terms, visitors bringing links are your blog’s back-links.
Guest blogging in popular blogs and developing social circles through blog commenting are the two sexiest methods for building back-links.
This is not a comprehensive list. There are also many tactics but these are basics. Important things also start from basics. You can explore more of them.
